We’re looking for an automotive technician who brings welding and fabrication skills to the shop. If you can diagnose a problem, think through a repair and make what the job calls for, we’d like to see your work.
The work
More than
a repair bay.
Some days it’s diagnostics or general repair. Others bring custom fabrication, drivetrain work, a vehicle build or specialty equipment—often a problem without an off-the-shelf solution. If you enjoy figuring things out and seeing something different come through the door, you’ll feel at home here.
Repair, welding, machining and CNC capability come together here. As we take on more complex specialty and commercial projects, there’s room to learn across disciplines and put your skills to use in new ways.
We’re an independent shop where your contribution matters. You don’t have to be equally advanced in every area: bring mechanical aptitude, curiosity, pride in your craftsmanship and a willingness to learn. Be honest about your strengths and where you need support.
Skills that connect
A strong mechanic with basic MIG welding and fabrication ability can be a good fit. Bring a working foundation in both; TIG and advanced fabrication skills are a plus.
Problem-solving mindset
Not every job comes with instructions. Understand the problem, think through possible solutions and be resourceful. Work independently when appropriate, and know when to ask for another set of eyes.
Ownership of your work
Pay attention to the details, check the result and take responsibility for your work. Applicants must supply their own hand tools.

Starting pay: $28–$38/hr
Starting pay is based on relevant automotive experience, welding and fabrication skills, and ability to work independently. This range applies to starting pay, not a cap on future earnings.
Paid time away
- Paid holidays.
- 40 hours of paid safe and sick leave per year.
- Separate PTO accrued weekly, totaling approximately two weeks per year.
Two schedule options
Choose four 10-hour days Monday–Thursday, or a Monday–Friday schedule totaling 40 hours. Start and finish times for the five-day schedule are agreed upon to accommodate your needs and the shop’s workflow.
